Dedication To my Heavenly Father, without Whom none of this would have been possible. “with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26 To my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave His life that all might live. “Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.” Matthew 20:28 To the Holy Spirit, for His inspiration and leadership in preparing this manuscript. “But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.” Job 32:8 To all of the precious saints of the LORD that went before us and stood in the truth of the scriptures and the love of Christ; many of whom laid their lies down for the sake of the Gospel. “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13 To my loving wife Terri, who spent more hours researching than I can count, and endured the trials and tribulations of putting all of this together. “Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.” Proverbs 31:10 To my precious daughter Ariel, a true gift from the Lord; whom the Heavenly Father has entrusted to me, to teach the ways of God. “And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.” Deuteronomy 6:6-7 “Take heed that no man deceive you.” Matthew 24:4b With those words the Lord Jesus Christ began telling His disciples what they could expect to happen in these Last Days. Since the inception of the Christian Church almost 2000 years ago, the devil has indeed been using the traditions and inventions of man in his attempts to deceive the Body of Christ. Unfortunately, he has been able to accomplish this to a greater degree through the ecumenical movement. Leaders within modern Christendom have prostituted themselves with spirits of error and heresy, creating false teachings that have infiltrated and weakened the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. The followers of the Lord, as a whole, have adopted the ancient ways of Baal, witchcraft and paganism through celebrations and rituals we now label Christian. In these Last Days it is time for Christians to stand up for the Word of God and put away the idols of old. “Put away the strange gods that are among you, and be clean…” Genesis 35:2b It is a simple yet precise searching of the Truth as presented in the Word of God and testified by world history. My prayer is that all who take the time to read this will do as the Bereans’ in the Book of Acts. “These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.” Acts 17:11 S.
